\nWe\u2019d like to start seeing your children around the
\ntime that they turn two years old. That\u2019s when a fair number of their teeth
\nhave erupted and they can usually sit in the exam chair comfortably. At this
\nfirst visit, we\u2019ll show them around the office before we begin the exam. Then,
\nwe\u2019ll gently examine their teeth and gums, check for early signs of tooth decay
\nand count their teeth. If they seem ready, we\u2019ll quickly clean their teeth,
\ntoo.<\/div>\n

\nlikely need to apply a topical fluoride treatment. Fluoride is a mineral that
